By Air: Simpson Bay Marina is 2 miles from the Airport directly on Airport Boulevard. Turn right leaving the Airport (East, toward the mountains) and drive past the runway and rental car agencies. Simpson Bay Lagoon with the anchored yachts is on your left. Continue around the end of the airport and through a myriad of small restaurants and shops, and cross over the Simpson Bay Bridge. About one-half mile past the bridge, on your left, you will see the red-tile roofs of Simpson Bay Marina.
By Sea: The Coordinates for Simpson Bay Marina are:
LONGITUDE: 63°05’26.00” W LATITUDE: 18°02’00.14” N
Dock Master on VHF 16 or 79A.
Bridge Details:
- Bridge width max 55 ft. (16.75 m), 8ft (2.4 m) clearance when bridge is closed
- Water depth at entrance channel is 20 ft (6 m)
- Bridge attendant monitors VHF channel 12
- Police Station, Immigration, and Port Clearance facility at bridge
Bridge opens daily as follows:
- Winter: Outbound 09:00, 11:00 and 16:30 Inbound: 9:30, 11:30 and 17:30
- Summer:Outbound: 9:30, 11:30 and 17:30 Inboound: 9:30, 11:30 and 17:30 Outbound Traffic first then Inbound Traffic.
